During these challenging times women are channeling the spirit of
"Rosie the Riveter". Women are taking on less traditional roles and
doing so with incredible style and grace. We have to remind ourselves
that women have been a major part of the workforce in America’s history
and an even bigger part since World War II. Since then women have
kicked down the "glass ceiling" while rocking fierce stilettos. Much
like "Wendy the Welder" or "Josephine the Plumber" ladies are working
up a sweat, but not to worry, they are wearing waterproof mascara. With
a punch of lip gloss they are giving a real shiner to the recession.
Hands down, these women evoke a "Yes We Did" spirit
draped
in imaginative jaw dropping hem lines and liquid fabric putting basic
black to rest. Either pounding nails or painting nails these women are
doing it en vouge.
